Case study · Plumbing & heating · Saugus, MA

From a “coming soon” page to a site that gets the call.

Shane Meredith runs S. Meredith Plumbing & Heating himself. His domain showed a site builder's “coming soon” page. I built him a phone-first website, written in code, with a request form that sends every job's details straight to his inbox.

After: the live smeredithplumbing.com homepage, “The plumber who answers the phone.” Before: the site builder's coming-soon setup page for S Meredith Plumbing.

What he had

  • A site builder's “coming soon” page on smeredithplumbing.com. Anyone who looked him up found nothing to call, read or book.
  • No way for a customer to send the job details, the town or a photo before Shane called back.
  • Years of finished jobs on his Instagram that nobody searching Google would ever see.

What I built

  • A phone-first home page that leads with the call button and his real Google reviews.
  • Ten service pages, from water heater repair to boiler service, each with its own request button.
  • Nine town pages, written from jobs he has actually done in those towns.
  • A work page with 26 real jobs and 69 photos from his own Instagram, with a tap-to-enlarge viewer.
  • A request form that changes its questions by service, checks the ZIP code against his service area, takes a photo, and emails the whole request to Shane.
  • Google Analytics that counts call taps, text taps and form requests, plus Search Console and updated Google Business Profile service descriptions.

What I can measure so far

  • The home page shows its main content in under 2 seconds on a throttled slow-4G phone test.
  • 93 out of 100 on the AI-search readiness check I run for clients, up from 62 before the fixes.
  • Every call tap, text tap and form request is counted, so we can see what the site brings in instead of guessing.

Search traffic takes months to build. Real numbers go here once there's enough to be honest about.
